As we mentioned on our homepage, we first opened to doors to Charcoal House back in 1973 and have had plenty of massive years in the last four decades or so. However, we are not exaggerating when we say that 2020 is going to be the biggest year in our history. Ever since we opened our doors, we have had just the one restaurant in Missouri, but we are glad to be able to tell you that we will be opening up a new one.
Atlantic City, New Jersey
We have always wanted to expand our business so that more people can enjoy the delicious meat that we serve. Although we highly recommend a trip to Missouri to try our meat, we know that this is not a viable option for everyone. Therefore, for the last few years we have been discussing about opening up a new establishment somewhere else in the United States. We spent a lot of time deciding on where the best place to open up another steakhouse would be. Obviously, a steakhouse in Las Vegas would be awesome, but the rent is sky high and we were not quite ready to take that risk.
We eventually decided on Atlantic City in New Jersey and have a few good reasons for doing so. For example, it is close to Philadelphia and New York, which means that it gets a lot of tourists from these areas who are looking for a quick break. Furthermore, it is a destination that gets a lot of tourists from all over the United States as there are plenty of things to do here. Some tourist destinations die in the winter, which would obviously be really bad for business, but Atlantic City is bustling all year round, which we realized would be fantastic for business. Another reason why we decided on Atlantic City is that the renting prices are very reasonable.
When Do We Plan on Opening in Atlantic City?
At the moment, we are currently in the middle of renovating the property and making sure that it is absolutely perfect before we open these new doors to the people of Atlantic City. We do not want to rush this as we know that first impressions are really important. If we open too soon and people do not like the look or feel of the restaurant, then word will spread quickly, and we will end up losing a lot of potential customers.
Therefore, we are planning on spending at least another four weeks or so ensuring that everything is spot on. Thus, at the moment, we are planning on opening up sometime at the beginning of July. When we open, we have a great idea for the perfect night. Atlantic City is known for having some of the best casinos in the country. Therefore, if you happen to be a meat lover and an avid gambler, it is going to become the perfect place for you to visit.
Why is this? Well, you can start your evening off with some delicious meat at our steakhouse and when we have fully satisfied you, you can head on over to some of the fantastic casinos and try your luck with a spot of gambling. No matter whether you like slot games or table games such as poker, roulette, craps, or baccarat, you will be able to find something that will provide you with a thoroughly entertaining evening. If luck is with you, then you might end up getting some free steak courtesy of the casino that you are playing at.
